Low coolant indicator light

I finally mustered the courage, and the will, to hook up a coolant level sensor for my 92 940. The idea is that when the coolant level is low there is an indicator on the dash which lights up to warn the driver. Apparently some years for the 940 had this indicator panel setup already. All that was needed was a bulb for that panel and the wiring to the coolant sensor. The excellent installation instructions for the same can be found here on the brickboard. I was expecting something like the indicator as depicted on that website, a fan and a radiator with less fluid. What I got instead is shown below and caught me completely by surprise.

It looks pretty cool though.
